Mumbai: It looks like actress Kareena Kapoor has been highly inspired by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Unlike a few of her contemporaries, Ash had gone the usual way of adding up her in-laws' surname after marriage. After marriage to Abhishek Bachchan, Ash is referred as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. In fact, Kareena Kapoor, who had recently tied knot with Saif Ali Khan, prefers to be called as 'Kareena Kapoor Khan.' While talking to a website, Bebo said that she's been telling people to address her as Kareena Kapoor Khan. "Although I've not converted, Saif is my husband and it's a beautiful surname to have," Kareena said. Kareena, who was dating her Tashan co-star Saif for five years, finally got married to him in October, 2012. In fact, a leading Islamic seminary Darul Uloom Deoband had claimed that Saif Ali Khan's wedding with Kareena Kapoor is anti Islamic as Kareena Kapoor did not convert to Islam before the marriage. "Kareena did not convert to Islam before her marriage with Saif. Islam does not approve of such marriages," claimed the Islamic institution located in Deoband, a town in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh.

There have been lots of talks about how husband and wife duo Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan plan to sing together.

It’s going to be an interesting occasion since this is for the first time that Abhi-Ash will be using their vocal chords for a film.

The movie which releases in 2009 also stars Govinda in an interesting role.

The buzz is that music maestro A R Rahman had composed a song for Mani Ratnam’s ‘Lajjo’ sometime back.

But that film got shelved and Rahman decided to use that same composition for ‘Ravana’.

If ‘Lajjo’ hadn’t been shelved, then in all probability Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor would have sung this particular song. But now that the composition is being used for Ravana, Abhishek and Aishwarya are likely to sing it.

Rahman has said, “Some of the songs in ‘Lajjo’ were generic, so we have translocated them into Ravana. Such things happen once in a while. No regrets. There is no time for that. Regret is boring. Mani’s new film is a new genre for me. I’ve done nothing like this before. So that’s exciting.”

Well, Kareena has actually talked about bettering Ash’s work many a time. Let’s see if Ash can actually do it, now that she has a real chance!
