A visit to Norway has brought out the writer in Kajal Aggarwal

Singham actress Kajal Aggarwal was in Europe recently for long periods of time for the shoot of her Telugu and Tamil films. She shot in places like Switzerland, Slovenia and Norway.

Back home she is full of tales to tell about her trips and the places she visited. But the place that is etched in her memory is Norway. Kajal, who will be seen with Akshay Kumar in Neeraj Pandey’s Special Chabbis, has been penning down her Norwegian experiences for a travelogue on the land of the midnight sun.

Kajal says, `The place’s scenic beauty is breathtaking. The deep fjords and tall mountains is a sight to marvel. It has always been my dream to write a travelogue. I am a mass communication student so I am very passionate about writing. I have also been asked to pen down my experiences by a lifestyle mag.`

The Mumbai girl who has made a career in South flicks points out that Norway is for those who love nature and the outdoors. `I spent over a week crisscrossing the country including the most remote locations. We travelled in trailers vagabond style stopping to shoot at the most breathtaking locations.

Among her most exciting visits was a trip to a massive strawberry farm. `I love strawberries and it was a real delight. Despite my marathon shooting session, I felt calmed by being amidst the natural beauty of Norway. The place has a soothing effect on you.

'Midnight's Children' a novel by Salman Rushdie which was caught by the eyes of Deepa Mehta, lead her to make the novel into a motion picture art starring Shriya, Siddarth, Anupam Kher and Shabana Azmi. The film is said to have an expectant ban by the Congress political party since the movie has scenes dishonoring late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Following a special screening of the film in Trivandrum, the Congress members have raised their opposition to the film being released in states ruled by Congress. Shriya who has her part in the film is startled by the decision of the Congress.

The shooting that has been held at Sri Lanka is said to have touched the ages where there was the emergency period that emerged under the Indira Gandhi's period. The Congress is against this and states this to be the reason for the ban.

With the movie being scheduled for release in India, the Congress leaders have strongly voiced out their disregard for screening the movie. Sources convey that the Congress cadres are planning to boycott the movie in other states too.

It is more or less an unwritten rule that any heroine from any part of this country will aim at Mumbai as she wants to prove herself in Bollywood. Mega Power Star Ram Charan's 'naayak' movie's rights have been bagged for Nizam area by Dil Raju for a whopping of Rs.11 crores and this is said to be an all time second best record after Pawan Kalyan's 'Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu'. This movie is slated for release on 9th January, 2013. Interestingly, Dil Raju's own venture 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' is also hitting the screens for Pongal, 2013. In this connection, following doubts are piercing in the minds of many cine folks. 

* Since 'naayak' has been sold out to a record price, the movie must be released in record number of theaters.Otherwise, it can't get its investments back. If 'SVSC' also hits the screens for Pongal, 'naayak' will lose its collections. Then how can Dil Raju gets the profits on 'naayak'?

* Since 'SVSC' was made on his own production house, Dil Raju must release the movie in record number of theaters. If 'naayak' occupies maximum number of theaters, how can 'SVSC' be treated as a safe project?

* Meanwhile, gossips on the postponement of the release date of SVSC have already been started and Dil Raju has to answer to these gossips.

Amala Paul, the actress who made her presence on Tollywood screen with Naga Chaitanya in ‘Bejawada’ is now pairing up with Ram Charan for VV Vinayak’s ‘Naayak’. Tamanna upset with Nayanthara

Tamanna was one of the leading actresses in Tamil and Telugu film industry. She has starred with all the top stars in Tamil like Vijay, Surya, Karthi, Dhanush. After Vengai movie she didn’t get any opportunity in Tamil films. Tamanna in a recent interview said that Tamil makers avoid giving chances for her.

Although there is no chance in Tamil, Tamanna has good market in Telugu. Tamanna got a chance in Hindi flick Himmatwala. Besides working on this project she is also concentrating on Telugu films. Speaking at the audio launch ceremony of 'Maranthen Mannithen' (the Tamil version of Gundello Godari), Lakshmi Manchu talked about her filmi career and interests so far.

"Acting! Your job is over by the end of the day. Producing films is a big gamble, and the odds don't favour you. But I will keep going until I fall flat on my face."

The audio launch of Maranthen Mannithen took place recently and the music has been composed by Maestro Illayaraja. Lakshmi is confident about the music and thinks I will do well in both Kollywood and Tollywood.

"I can't wait to see the kind of response the songs will have here. Five of the tracks are same in both the languages and Raja uncle has reworked on one of his old tracks from Tamil and Telugu, which will be the highlight," she added.

The actress won the Nandi Award for Best Villain for her role in Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu. Asked if she would take up a similar role again, she said "I'm the only woman to receive an award in this category till date. Many asked me to reconsider playing the evil queen in my debut film, but how many would get an opportunity to be part of Walt Disney's first production in south India? If I am asked to play a villain again, I would do it gladly!"

Without the knowledge and consent from Lakshmi, these Tamil producers of ‘Puduvai Managaram’ are using the stills of Tapsee from ‘gundello godaari.’ In fact, when Lakshmi is planning this flick as a bi-lingual inclusive of Tamil, this kind of creative burglary has upset the GG team. ‘I am shocked to see our Tapsee stills used on the posters of Tamil film. I will take legal action against all of them,’ said a furious Lakshmi.

Lakshmi Manchu's Legal Attack For Taapsee.

The bonding between Lakshmi Manchu and Taapsee is known to all. With Manchu family's blessings Taapsee has been doing well in Tollywood. And here is another example which has displayed how Lakshmi takes her work and Taapsee seriously. It is heard that Lakshmi is planning to file a legal complaint against a producer in Kollywood.

The reason for that is, it is heard that the producer had reportedly used the stills of Taapsee for the dubbed version of his Malayalam film 'Puduvai Managaram'. The issue is, these stills belong to Lakshmi Manchu's new venture 'Gundello Godaari'. Moreover, the stills were yet to be revealed but they were used by the Tamil producer on the posters.

Lakshmi reportedly filed a complaint at the Producers Guild in Chennai and this is likely to be followed by a legal complaint. From her end, Taapsee is reportedly shocked with this incident but she has mentioned that she trusts Lakshmi completely. It is heard that Taapsee said yes to 'Gundello Godaari' without listening to the script.
